Internationally successful singer-songwriter Nianell is set to blow audiences away with the launch of her latest album, My Beautiful Escape.. My Beautiful Escape is Nianell’s first full length album in two years and it is filled with tracks that range from hauntingly beautiful to upbeat and experimental. Nianell has released a steady body of work across her illustrious career, raking in awards and becoming one of the most recognised names in the Southern African music landscape. She has endeared herself to both Afrikaans and English audiences, solidifying a reputation as one of the most versatile and talented singer-songwriters our country has to offer. My Beautiful Escape is at times reminiscent of Nianell’s earliest works – but imbued with enhanced maturity and fearlessness that only a tempered soul is capable of. The album leads the listener through a sonic adventure – a sweeping journey through Nianell’s four octave range.
