The Black Cat Bones is a South African rock band formed in Silverton, Pretoria in 2007. The group consists of founding members Kobus de Kock jr (vocals) and Andre Kriel (guitars) with Chris vd Walt (bass) and Jason Oosthuizen (drums) rounding off what is considered to be one of the current top performing acts in South Africa. For this Barnyard show however, folks can expect a stripped down unplugged version of the band, reverting back to their original robust sound and performing some heartfelt, honest and true-to-the-bone acoustic renditions of their otherwise energetic repertoire, including a selection of classic covers arranged to suite their signature style of home-brewed country-folk-blues.
