Ann and I were fortunate enough to spend our New Year’s Eve at the Harbour Rock in Hermanus in the company of Simeon Hamman and The Cover Ups. We were so impressed with them and the way they kept the dance floor full, that we decided right there and then to get them to Musiekskuur. The Cover Ups bring a fun, youthful feel to the old classics which is proving to be extremely popular and with this incredible group, whilst still exceptionally young themselves, have taken on some of the most mature and melodic music in the industry. Their beautiful harmonies and simple acoustic interpretations of popular songs are exquisite.
