This show promises to leave you begging for an encore! Parable Fifteen is best described as “Country Rock” or “New Country”. Their story began after Marc Skarda returned to his roots in South Africa having spent a number of years living in Nashville Tennessee working in the music industry. Marc teamed up with his brother Bryce Breeds who had been performing with a number of local bands and had made his mark on the local market as a sound and lighting engineer in and around KwaZulu Natal. Together the boys decided to sit down and write songs – just for the fun of it. And the result was the start of a very moving collection – written from their hearts, touching on everyday struggles, life experiences, dreams and aspirations that we can all relate to. The band also quickly climbed the ReverbNation Pop charts in South Africa, hitting number one in just two weeks. More recently, the Parable Fifteen journey has seen the addition of drummer Marius Botha. These seasoned musicians have added a dynamic, rounded rock element to what began as an acoustic duo. This addition has inspired Parable Fifteen to record a full length CD showcasing their new sound, while staying true to their roots.
